The company's core loss came in at $1.27 a share for the March quarter, an improvement from the $2.75 loss a year earlier, but worse than the Capital IQ-polled consensus of $1.05. Revenue climbed to $17.92 billion from $13.99 billion, just ahead of the Street's view for $17.56 billion. The stock rose 3.1% in early trading.
