The #TSA needs a new gag writer. I mean, it was one thing when they brought in full-body scanners called "#Rapiscan" but this is ridiculous.

@pluralistic The company Analog Devices in Westwood, MA, more than once had the OG stolen off their sign. They would replace those letters, but they are forever lighter and newer than the rest of the sign, so it doesn't entirely help.

@hteasley @pluralistic oh yeah... I used to drive past this sign almost daily.

@wcbdata @pluralistic I may or may not have worked in an office park across the highway that had pairs of large steel O's and G's that one could find decorating the walls.

I would like to note that, if they were there, they were certainly there before I was hired.

@hteasley @wcbdata @pluralistic I'll admit that when I saw this toot in isolation, I read the 'pairs of large steel O's and G's' as a reference to GOOGLE.

...and now I'm wondering if that's why they choose that spelling of that name: to steal them from the ANALOG signs, as a cost-cutting measure on buying letters. :P
