Making games is so hard y'all
@eniko
Don't forget, it seems to me, that "the problem" you are facing is even BIGGER than that. You are trying to PROMOTE/MARKET/SELL a game .. that's LOT more difficult than "making a game". To be honest I would not know what to say "having been there myself", from what I've seen "your game looks cool", actually looks well done. And THAT is "the point", WHY should be so difficult to "maket" such a thing ? And yet it is ! .. If I'd know the answer I'd be rich .. I DO NOT KNOW the answer ..
@gilesgoat that's also true but also the making the game part is impossible all by itself
@eniko
Sorry I have to disagree in here , what do you mean "make the game part" ? .. You may be partially right, but we are in just in 2 here and we do games 🙂 Must we said, thanks God, we DO NOT do "the marketing part", we are not good for it. Your fox game looks pretty good so "you have done the game part". Must be said we don't do graphics of a certain kind nor we need/use voice acting or such so there's that.
@gilesgoat games involve programming, graphics, sounds, music, and at some point also gotta be fun or at least engaging. None of those disciplines are easy in and of themselves and just setting 3-5 creative individuals to a task and getting a desirable outcome can be difficult. Sometimes things just don't come together. Sometimes ideas just don't work. Sometimes people just don't mesh. There's so many points of potential failure
@eniko
I think that everyone into games will tell you "there's a bathtub shaped curve" where things start to get/be really fun/creative then here's a big part of "mega frustration/complexity" and the hardest part is getting out of it. Of course "failure is always an option", another hard part is managing what you can do VS the time/resources you have and come out with something at some point. You can't plan a "3 years long game" if you need cash real soon it's all a balancing act. It's hard.
