@hischeekiness to be honest Helen picked this film and it wasn’t really my taste. She found it too twee and everything just ‘fell into place’ too easy. I thought it was about a man overcoming grief and setting out on a challenge which showed the good in the world.
@RossA It can be a fine line between twee and not being.
Andy@RossA I loved it too. I thought it was about modern contemporary England. Twee landscapes, dual carriageways, and pints of milk from the forecourt. Acceptance and help from some, intrusive nosiness and prejudice from others. But mostly the we've started so we better finish pointlessness of being English. #HaroldFry
