Is it that people have stopped talking about The Hat, or is it that the full economic impact of the hat's discovery won't be felt until Q3 and Q4 2023 and beyond?

@benmschmidt I don’t know if any human looked at that shape before the authors of the paper, but it must have been in this set of 873 possibilities for 8 tetrakites 2 times. Testing for the aperiodic tiling property is a different thing though.
