@revkin If I understand you: If it is clear to the yellow vests that all rich and powerful individuals and corporations and government enterprises (military, policing, schooling) will pay a fair share of the carbon taxes, I would HOPE they would be accepting of their commensurate shares*. Macron did not make that part clear (because it wasn’t true, I gathered). *Except for the right wing media addicts who will do as they are told.
