1️⃣ SB ends its first week on-air by bringing Joe and Kelly face-to-face, alone for the first time. The obvious, but completely correct, way to end things.

2️⃣ MVP: #LouiseSorel. Definitely. Augusta meets Joe for lunch, again. Sorel is hilarious; delicious.

3️⃣ Comedy: Speaking of humour, there is plenty of it in the excellent Mason-Santana storyline. Previously, Mason seemed creepy/obsessive. There’s still a bit of that. But in this episode we see him daydreaming about being governor of the state, with a ridiculously-devoted Santana by his side. It’s a very funny scene. And it defuses most of the menace. Now, he just seems like a bit of a dope. Santana cooking him a sabotaged meal only adds to the amusement.

Even more than the Joe-Kelly meeting, I’m keen to see how Mason plays out the rest of the dinner.

4️⃣ Peter: This is the episode where Peter starts working for Capwell Hotels. He simply cannot wait to give up teaching. A definitely clue for the audience that he is not the one for Kelly.

5️⃣ New Character: First appearance of #AndreaHoward as Veronica, Peter’s new secretary.

6️⃣ Music: The incidental themes by #JoeHarnell, which get reused a lot, are fabulous.
