@Silversnapples @inaforest @screensanctum So you can absolutely move servers. The main limitation is you can't take your posts with you. But there is the ability to move your follows and followers to a new account. Fedi tips usually has a good article for things like this

@screensanctum @inaforest @Silversnapples I'm not sure on apps, I personally use the website both for mobile and desktop because it seems to work the best for me, but I do use MetaText to get notifications on my phone.
