The 24 hour news cycle & social media often make it seem like everything in the U.S. is a mess. And sure, a lot of it is, but there’s also still plenty of kindness, as well as people who care deeply about their communities.

@Sheril Had Dr Franklin not been such a gifted negotiator, it's quite possible that you would not be a single country. Might the result have been better, in hindsight, if he'd failed?
