A TX man w/AR-15 killed 5 people "execution style." Two female victims were killed lying on top of 2 surviving kids & 3 surviving kids were covered in blood. All b/c they asked him to stop shooting while their baby slept.

This GOP "well regulated militia," has this month alone killed people for:
•Sitting in the wrong car
•Knocking on wrong door
•Turning into wrong driveway
•Attending the wrong birthday party
•Basketball rolls into the wrong lawn
•Asking the wrong neighbor to let your baby sleep

@QasimRashid This country was built on violence, terror, and trauma. It is in the DNA of America. That does not mean we should cease fighting for a less violent society. Build community, network, educate, and continue to fight violence and terror with daily kindness. The majority of American’s are non-violent.✌🏼

Is that a fact? Then why is the violent crime rate in both Australia and New Zealand higher than the United States? When you account for VIOLENCE as opposed to only homicide the numbers might surprise you.

Feel free to join the conversation rather than just doing snark. I am HAPPY to be proven wrong but all evidence points to gun control being a grift in the US. There are NO viable legislative answers and both sides continue to fundraise off outrage on both sides while knowing it.

If you have a VIABLE real world method to change the US constitution (that wouldn't put Jim Jordan and MTG in charge of the committee) I would love to see it.

Nope, with so many right wing lunatics out there and so much money being made by companies in the business of manufacturing and selling arms and ammunition, I can’t the problem being addressed until death tolls are much, much higher.

I don't agree on the cause but that is really irrelevant to what we should be doing which is to reduce inequality, improve material conditions for the workers, and stop wasting political capital on tilting at windmills.

The base cause *is* inequality.
The reason we are unable to do what many other countries have been able to do, is political.
There are too many groups with vested interested in keeping Americans afraid. Fear drives profit.
And greed, amplifies the drive, to profit from fear.
