@johnserwach @plutus @rubecube12 Joke failure. 😂 His comments came a couple of days later, and two LDP pols had been speaking at the same venue, and apparently had cracked a joke that made the crowd laugh. So this guy, thinking the crowd was in the mood to laugh, gave it his best shot.
Immediately jumped on by other pols of course. Pretty stupid. But it was kind of a laughable assassination "attempt", so maybe he thought it would be received differently.
After Abe, however, it was stupid.
