You can be personally against abortion without imposing that belief on every woman legislatively.

Being pro-choice is inclusive for those that want to be personally against abortion …..it just affords other people the ability to choose. It’s easy.

@TonyStark This is so annoying. I remember anti-choicers lecturing Dems about how they need to "make room for pro-life Democrats." NONE of the nuance in your Toot was ever expressed. The national discourse is driven by the media, and the media just unthinkingly adopted conservatives' narrow framing on what "pro-life" means: NO ABORTION FOR ANYONE THE END.

Meanwhile, they're fine with launching wars, denying food stamps and healthcare, executing prisoners (some of whom could be innocent.), etc.

@Litzz11 Those points are really important. We all know when most abortions take place statistically- well over 90% are early on. And exceptions should be available for the rare cases. That’s both decent and pro-life.

The media loves to adopt conservative framing. It’s one of our biggest obstacles.

If anyone wants to be taken seriously as pro-life, they indeed should be doing all of the things you say and more. What conservatives are supporting now is extremism.

@TonyStark Every Friday Ari Melber does his "who needs to fall back" panel. Last night one of the guests said anyone using the term "pro life" needs to fall back. "They are not pro life!"

100% agree and the mainstream media needs to expunge that term from its vocabulary.

@Litzz11 I saw that! Loved what his one guest said about pro-life as a term used by Republicans needs to be buried underground.
@Litzz11 same with referring to the “Freedom Caucus.”
