don't mind me just yelling about how the server who harassed a queer black person to leave for asking for mutual aid is now hosting a discussion about why black people don't use the fediverse.
newsflash: black people are not too stupid to choose between instances on a fucking website. the reason few racialized folks are here is because of condescending computer touchers such as yourself and bad moderation of most public servers.
like at least conventional social media pay lip service to the concept of content moderation, whereas most of you fuckers are out here like "we can't prevent harassment :/ that would curtail people's free speech!!" and refusing to use the one feature that makes this platform genuinely good (server bans). while actually silencing vulnerable people all the time. just say the quiet part even louder why dontcha
