I’m getting some impressed reactions to my recent #SwimLife updates so I want to clarify some things.

1. I’ve been swimming for over 30 years. Off & on but when you discover early what works for your body, your body also adapts to the activity a lot better & it’s easier to pick it back up even after a break.

2. The pool I currently swim in, is 25m (not 50m like a more professional pool). It is still called a lap because that’s just an unbroken swim from one end to another. I like this pool because unlike others, they keep the lanes clear even in crowded times. Makes a big difference.

1 & 2 mean my progress (averaging 40 laps in under an hour) is not impressive. It’s the healthy normal for someone my age (based on medical advice). If you are find this unattainable, please get a health check. The pandemic highlighted the value of health & immunity. #SwimLife
