@[email protected] Well, it’s decentralized (like Mastodon), so it can’t be taken over by a shithead like Elon and turned into a TERF/Nazi paradise. And it seems simpler and more intuitive than Mastodon et al. And being set up by someone with reasonable credentials to give confidence it will work, say whatever else about them. And Twitter has continued to get worse, so more people are looking for an exit. Might not be the Twitter killer, but it feels different to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
