RT @RevDrBarber
We just witnessed a political massacre and a coup d’état by the North Carolina Supreme Court. Five Republicans—all white—with two African-Americans dissenting, decided to be the focal point of voter suppression in North Carolina.

@rbreich
I just read this news. My immediate thought is we should reinstate capital punishment for Treason. We are a civil nation with a working system of laws and a working Constitution. Why has one political party decided neither are important to them?

Oh Yea-----that Orange Turd who made a mockery of it all.

@momac666 the consequences seem harsh, they're harsh for a reason. Treason is a serious fucking thing and the "party of real Americans" should respect that. But the crimes benefit them so ......
@momac666 @rbreich Trump was a symptom and a catalyst. But Gingrich and Rove paved this road, to mix metaphors.

@momac666 @rbreich

It's deeper than Trump. He was a symptom not the disease.

@rbreich Voter suppression only works if affected voters have no options, but they do. They can play by the rules and vote. It may be more difficult, but nothing is taking away their right to vote.
@rbreich NCGOP has a long history of scheming and throwing fairness under the bus (during lame duck prior to Dem Cooper as Gov, GOP stripped the Gov's office of lots of powers), now they run GOPers as Dems, & the Dem suddenly switches to GOP after election (see Tricia Cotham). They still embrace racism, bigotry, KKK, etc so in essence the GOP NC Supreme Court just ruled racism & bigotry are ideals, unfairness is expected & legal, and the state Constitution is meaningless. A complete nightmare.
