@SingingNala I would love to check out Bluesky, but I think you need an invite, or to just wait on the waitlist. I have not gotten in yet, but I really want to try it just because it is a new thing. LOL

@Mitmee_Pie Honestly, Blue Sky is in what I like to call the early adopter phase. I don't know that it's big enough yet to be a major player. I mainly see other Mastodon people, sighted people, trying it. @arstechnica

@Mitmee_Pie @kjw810 So glad you did. I've encountered quite a few of my gal pals from the 2010 Twitter era like Lynn, Annette and Pauline and of course Kelly here. I think the only ones I'm still waiting for are Vicki, Nikki and Stephanie. So glad you could join us here. I love seeing posts from my Twitter girls popping up in my timeline. And it's so much easier to read what all my friends are posting about because my timeline here is way less cluttered.

@SingingNala @arstechnica Don’t forget about the half that went to Instagram or TikTok and the half that refuse to go anywhere and see no need to. People like their centralization nowadays. I wouldn’t mind seeing Blue Sky myself. It’s not an either/or thing with me, but I have no particular loyalty to Mastodon either, necessarily, for various reasons.
