I got my latest #conference #speaker outfit back from the tailor this week, so on this #ReverseCasualFriday I can share it with you.
Open questions: Where to attach the microphone pack? I'm thinking about a wide white belt but I'm open for suggestions.
Black kitten heels or neon pink high heels? Both are not ideal but getting new shoes won't work out.

@the_qa_guy Das sieht so cool aus! Leider auch kein Plan wegen dem Mikrofon, ich glaube sowas wird auch gerne mal mit Tape gemacht...?

Und wenn du drin laufen kannst, sehen die pinken High Heels dazu bestimmt mega aus. Also es sei denn das Pink beißt sich mit dem Pink vom Kleid.

@catrinity Danke für das Kompliment. Ich kann in den Heels laufen aber ich bin bei den Farben unsicher. Auf dem Foto ist der Schuh etwas mehr Pink als in Realität.

@the_qa_guy Ah, wow, schwer. Also Gürtel in der Farbe der Schuhe würd ich eher nicht machen, an den Füßen kann ichs mir schon vorstellen, aber ich bin da keine Expertin. 😁

I personally wouldn't add a belt, I think a dress like this needs to flow. Microphone pacs and dresses are annoying but if all else fails, one can make do with a little handbag or just the lanyard from your conf badge.

Using the lanyard is a great idea, I'll keep that in mind.
I will check if my wife has a handbag that would work with the dress and get a belt as a backups backup. I really don't want to use a handheld microphone!

@the_qa_guy Oh, that's rad! I love it. 😍 Some mic packs come with an elastic belt. But choosing one yourself might look better.

Regarding the shoes: if you're comfortable walking in the higher heels they might add some sparkling. The kitten heels though might be more comfortable for standing for some time on a stage.

I have a pair of pretty inexpensive patent 'leather' heels from Zalando where I can comfortably stand and walk in for four hours. So heel height sometimes isn't a problem 😏

@sashag Comfort is a great point! Then again I'm on stage for 45 minutes, so it isn't that much of a factor. I will find places to sit throughout the rest of the day.

Which reminds me that I should use the coming weeks to get comfortable with those shoes again.

As for Zalando: Shoe size 46 over here 😭
