I'm now fully into the "stressed about my parents' health" phase of life. I know I am super lucky to have not arrived here long before now, but yeah, it's a lot, isn't it?

@kendralittle it is. My mom went through 2 years of cancer treatments before succumbing about a year ago. One of the things I wish I remembered to do was record more videos and audio.

Also, kinda morbid at the time, but I made sure to be pushy about her creating a will with all the family members involved. It helped immensely in the end.

@kendralittle my sister & I discussed this recently, watching our friends deal with elderly & adding parents. We lost our mom 35 years ago and my father 13 years ago. We agreed that "lucky" isn't the right word but we don't envy what they're going to go through in the coming years.

@kendralittle yep. I know a bunch of us are dealing with these issues right now. It doesn't make it easier but you're not alone in dealing with this.
