@hughster not at all - I’d just like it removed from public life, schools, government etc. where it’s constantly forced on people and influences decision making.
If people want to religion in private, then that’s up to them - they just shouldn’t force their lifestyle choice onto others. Kinda simple really.

@BrisVegas OK, but you don't need to abolish religions to do that; you want a secular state.
@hughster the world needs to move on from antiquated hateful superstitions - abolishing religion would speed up the process and prevent damage to future generations. Go straight to the root cause.

@BrisVegas Telling people "you are free to practice religion but you can't impose it on others" isn't compatible with telling those same people "your religion is bullshit and we're going to abolish it whether you like it or not".
