Jay UlfelderI don't know if the increasingly open calls from right-wing influencers for violence against trans people and their allies are heartfelt or cynical ploys to draw attention, but as someone who's studied ethnic conflict and mass atrocities, I know that it doesn't matter; dangerous speech has the same effect either way.

Doesn't matter if others say its "fearmongering" or "unsensible".
We've seen this stuff occur in the Rwandan Genocide (although they didn't use media prior to such), and the Final Solution.
Brainwashing is the method of perpetuating genocide.
