For the love of god, speed is not the issue with 5G (or frankly LTE either), it's coverage. I'm on T-Mobile, which has the widest 5G coverage and I'm very often getting middling service because the reception just isn't great.

I can easily get 500-700Mbps downloads and 100Mbps uploads when my signal is better, I just need better signal more often.

@matt I’m on Verizon near Notre Dame, and don’t even have 5G service and only 2 LTE bars on a good day, usually 1. I’ve only seen 5G near Chicago.
