Oh no, the baddie stomped on the SIM card, there is no way they could possibly identify phone calls over a phone network given they still had the SIM card and the physical phone … the IMEI would be completely useless 😒

I wonder if cop shows pretend stomping on a useless piece of plastic will make a difference just to trick idiots.
