i might just carry n95 masks for the rest of my life. they're great. weigh nothing, take up no space, fix so many problems. stinky? smokey? pollen? pet dander? forgot to shave? want to avoid face rec? have to be around sick people? dont want to have to show emotions? cold nose? nbd! one piece of paper fixes all of these problems & more!

Yep! Bought more of the funny-looking #vflex from 3M.

Prices are more reasonable now, and this is the only brand/model for me that, worn properly, doesn't fog my glasses -- even when working out.

@gowin oooh! Tell me about the vflex. What part of it keeps your glasses from fogging up? Why does it work better?

This has been a struggle for my husband throughout the pandemic (I wear contacts). He resorted to the bandaid/tape hack early on but now he’s just resigned to foggy glasses.

I’m always on the look out for new n95 styles that might help.

@eatthelove @astrid The 3M vflex has a flexible wire that helps it hold the mold to your nose, and the mask material itself is thick, so it stays put, even when I'm moving a lot (biking, yoga).

There's also the 3M Aura mask, which is thinner, but has extra foam for the nose bridge, for catching sweat, and kinda prevents fogging, but I like the Vflex better.
