#Vegas s1e11 (1978) - 4/10
Bland story, with cheesy moments.

1️⃣ #RoneeBlakley guests as a troubled singer, who has been targeted for death. She sings three songs, including two that she penned herself.

2️⃣ #TonyCurtis no longer has a credit in the opening titles. #JohnnySeven appears as a character who performs exactly the same function. Almost as if he’s just reading lines originally written for Curtis?

3️⃣ It’s a good guest cast: #PeterBreck, #EugeneRoche, and #JosephCampanella. Most of the focus is on Blakley, of course, but each of the guys gets a key scene or two to do their thing. Their performances are the clear highlight.
4️⃣ The episode is light on actual plot, and full of stupid moments/decisions. The dumbest part is probably when Tanna drops by his pal #DocSeverinsen for some “expert advice” about the music industry, and hears some really obvious/evident insights (which then allow him to break the case wide open!).

5️⃣ Once again, it’s clear that Dan Tanna is nothing like Jim Rockford or Tom Magnum. He is basically the king of Las Vegas. When he clicks his fingers, everyone jumps. Tanna spends a lot of time in this episode driving in his car and issuing orders to the people he knows.
