While it is premature to write Fox’s obituary, we must acknowledge that the post-truth era of right-wing, racist grievance we are currently living through is a direct result of Rupert Murdoch’s Fox “News” Channel.

So, how did we get here, and importantly how can we get out of this spiral? Read our thoughts over at The Big Picture. https://thinkbigpicture.substack.com/p/fox-news-fueled-family-divide

The Big Picture
@georgetakei I once saw a woman call another woman a liar, saying she was trying to get attention. I talked to her, saying that was unlikely behavior in a grown up, and she could be hurting the woman by trying to convince people she was a liar with no evidence. She admitted she didn't know, but that the woman's story made her uncomfortable, so she decided it must not be true. I think of her every time I wonder why Republicans blindly follow liars, even when faced with evidence of truth.
