This writeup by @micahflee on how he used GPT-4 to help speed through a CTF at B-Sides San Francisco really opened my eyes to the tech's ability to troubleshoot & problem-solve. Fascinating (and worrying.)

I just did my first Capture the Flag with the help of OpenAI's GPT-4 and it kind of blew my mind. Here's a detailed writeup of three challenges, including one that GPT-4 just straight up solved for me https://micahflee.com/2023/04/capturing-the-flag-with-gpt-4/

@razhael @micahflee I can’t help but think of how GPS usage quickly took away my ability to wayfind after moving to a new city. I absolutely loved it when GPS became common but after a year or more in a new city I still had no idea how to get around or where things were in relation to one another. I still use GPS navigation when there is a time crunch but otherwise I try my best not to become dependent upon it.
@razhael @micahflee I certainly founcd much the same on a BAE sponsored CTF a couple of months ago.
