Bit of a long shot, but could my good mastodon follower folk give me some boosts?

I'm starting work on a documentary podcast series about the future of space; renewable/sustainable technologies, commercialism in the sector and the public's perception of it all.

@vor that's fair enough! I wouldn't go so far as to say it will be rah rah, definitely looking for it to be balanced, but particularly with the sustainable part it probably will be... Optimistic? Like "hopefully, if humans don't f*ck it all up, this is how it could look"

60 years ago, when Apollo went to the moon, we didn't know our house was on fire. We should know better now, and even some of my acquaintances who are most ardent about sustainability give space a pass.

No one should get a pass until we stop burning our house down.

I like space. I don't want people to think I'm in the tinfoil hat corps. The current iteration of space exploration is not sustainable and should not be prioritized over preventing our demise.
