Looking for suggestions on how to encourage my son (age 12) to get out and #bike more. Looking especially for fun places around #toronto like ravines and parks. Also any ways to motivate the youngn’ (and myself really) like #geocaching or charity ride or anything to #gamify getting outdoors.

As with making music, if you do it, they will do it, because, as children, they will see biking (or whatever) as a 'normal' thing to do. If you won't, then you can bet, just as the young improve on everything else about us, they will improve on your excuses! :)

Years ago we figured out the shortest and longest distances across each Province. We tracked out kms for each ride and when we hit a certain distance we could say "we biked across PEI" or "we biked the length of Alberta". We put on a lot of kms and " biked across Canada" in 2 summers.
