When big powerful people or organizations take a hit there is a tendency to rationalize that it can’t possibly be that bad for them— and yeah Tucker will be “fine” rich or whatever— but it’s unlikely he’ll ever have so much influence or such a powerful platform ever again.

It’s ok to call it a win. It is a win.

Alex Jones was too.

You see Tucker was the model for a character in my book. That’s how significant (to me at least) his place was in translating discourse from … 4chan & local Proud Boys chapter to the ears of your angry uncle. He was preaching some baaad poison— I’m glad it’s paused.

@futurebird I'm just happy any time one of these motherfuckers has a bad day.

I had a great day! Went for a walk, ate a nice pastry. That motherfucker had a TERRIBLE day. Definitely a win.

@futurebird it’s a win, it’s not the whole war but it is a win.
@futurebird In some respects sure. But is it really a true win when they'll just pull another nazi from their stockroom and sit them in the same chair?
@JerikkaDawn No one else was as bad— not even alex let’s see what they find
@futurebird yes, let us have our fun! When will we get more of this sweet sweet schadenfreude?

@futurebird Alex Jones was a win because an independent court says so. Importantly, PUNITIVE DAMAGES say so.

Dominion is a win because Dominion says so. Period. So what. Settlements means the defendant got something important it wanted. A monetary win, sure. But a moral loss, undeniably

Ive got a bridge to sell you if you think Dominion knew the necessary result was the dismissal of Cucker or if that even constitutes a total win. Hopefully Smartmatic finishes the job properly.

@futurebird unfortunately there is plenty more where that came from
