@cathitza “supposed to” not in a moral sense but a facts of the matter sense. We change continuously, generally without our conscious selves being consulted, thru out our entire lives. I suppose one may fight it, but then one is fighting the entire universe.

@cathitza I’ve had GFs say “We’re so great together, I wish I’d met you sooner!” My response: “No you don’t. I was an idiot. I did so many stupid things, and all those mistakes taught me to be better.” If only there was a good way to learn hard lessons without the mistakes and pain along the way.
