Because I’m seeing toxic positivity floating around lately….

It’s okay to be sad. It’s okay to be anxious, frustrated, depressed, bummed, or even entirely sickened by the state of the world. It’s okay to feel a visceral need to howl in the face of injustice. It’s okay to grieve and worry and weep.

Those feelings are as much a part of life as happiness.

Ignore anyone who tries to shame you by calling you “negative.” You are a human, not a highlight reel.

It's not only OK to feel so, it's of the utmost importance, because these are the feelings that can bring about the will to act, to change things. The will to fight for a better world.
Also it shows that one still has a working moral compass.
How am I supposed to feel in the face of pain and injustice? That's right! Angry and sad. And bloody angry, again!
