Q4) Huhhh how do you manage presales to implementation...first sales closes the deal. At that point a PM is introduced to the client? Don't understand question unless you have SE act as PM which in my world makes no sense unless you are a 5 - 15 person company. Presales is presales. Sales deals are owned by the PM.

There are 2 TWO , Kick off meetings or should be.
First the internal Kick off with sales person , SE who was assigned, and PM if possible who will be assigned. You review the SOW IN DETAIL!! You review the Gantt chart and check again reality. You challenge where necessary INTERNALLY.

Second Kick off IS EXTERNAL.This kick off has the same group but it is run by the PM and THE CLIENT IS ON THE PHONE WITH YOUR TEAM. The SOW and time line confirmed with the client.
