Calling it a gotcha that I "critique Biden policies after voting for him" is what's wrong with US politics today.

Voting for him doesn't mean I can't critique him—it's literally the best reason to be critical. It's called holding electeds accountable. It's how democracy works. And it’s how political parties work when they aren’t cults.

@QasimRashid Exactly. We have Labor governments in Australia - good, but in many areas they need to be better, especially at a Federal level on the rate of pensions and unemployment payments.
Thankfully we can vote Green, and preference Labor, which means some seats have such members, and we can vote that way without having this assist the right-wing parties ("Liberals, who aren't, and useless Nationals who support frackers over farmers). We certainly critique the party, and critique Greens when they get silly.
