@TCatInReality @anneapplebaum Twitter usage share in USA is laughable right now. Yes, it is sad to see Twitter gone, but overstating its importance has been huge problem for lot of media.
It is really not that important.

But the world's media still follows it breathlessly.

And millions of decent people remain on it - lending some legitimacy and putting themselves at risk.

More need to recognise what it is and deactivate.
