@knottedthreads @[email protected] @QasimRashid the US system is set up to not allow rapid anything. I would like Biden to be more forceful about ditching the filibuster.
Absent that change, there’s no meaningful legislation getting through Congress.

@zoneleft @jacobrogers256 @QasimRashid The Executive branch doesn't control the rules in Congress. My sense is that, with such a slim majority, he's being careful about how hard he makes life for the Dems in the Senate. Biden, like many of the Cabinet secretaries he appointed, is an institutionalist. I might once have considered that an insult, but after Trump, I consider it a positive character trait.
