It was a tough week for Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, SpaceX and Twitter. And that mean it was a decent week for humor! In the same week that SpaceX saw an unmanned rocket blow up shortly after takeoff, Tesla surprised investors on the downside, and Twitter bafflingly went ahead with plans to remove blue checks from verified accounts that didn’t pony up $8/mo for the privilege.

@jaykuo if I were master of the universe tomorrow all AI generated messages would have to have some kind of message identifying them as such imbedded somewhere. We already have too many people who believe the stupidest things based on far less than what appears to be photographic evidence and it’s adversely affecting our health, democracy, etc.

I know it takes more time, but it would be a serious BOON if you would give other links to videos and such than the bird site.

I will not go there. This week, there were that many links there, that much of the laughter was missing on my end.
