@Benjaminblackoak @dkxkee @flexghost This is a major irony, to me. If you say, "Oh God!" to a Southern protestant Christian, they will tell you not to take the Lord's name in vain. But then they'll turn around and say things like, "God is on our side." They really think that God favors them in particular, and that they are God's people, while everyone else needs to be stomped on for being evil or not God-fearing enough.

Someone needs to explain to them what "vain" actually means.

Whether you believe in God or not, the concept......A supreme being needs a middleman, an arbitrator. Atheist or religious zealot, it seems incredible the idea of God hinges on a fabrication of man, both guilty of that sin. Contemplating the existence of God based on what man fabricates and contorts for his own corrupt interests? Religion is the furthest thing from God.

Where I respect an agnostic over the arrogance and foolishness of an atheist.Baffles me how people don't see that form of certainty to be just as ridiculous.
