I guess I’ve wondered for a while now how we will know the moment when fascism has unequivocally arrived either in the US or UK.

There were Jews who recognised that same moment in 1930’s Germany and made escape plans.

I’ve just witnessed a number of GoFundMe pages on here for trans people to escape from the states they had long called home.

That moment is no longer a theoretical possibility, it’s sadly arrived. We can’t just pretend it’s not happening. We need global action.

@JugglingWithEggs From my understanding, fascism is a slow and gradual process. This graphic was taken from Alyssa Mackenzie on Twitter (I'd rather not give Musk any more attention or traffic that is necessary), but it represents the process we're going through. Out of stages, the US is on the 8th stage right now. And this is just focusing on transgender issues.
