Geht`s nur mir so, dass Mastodon grottenlangsam geworden ist? Hat #mastodon.social zuviel Zulauf bekommen die letzten Wochen ? 😕

Oh. K.A, hab meine eigene Instanz (, die auch manchmal den Geist aufgibt.)

Mastodon.social "has multiple IP addresses", kriegt man vom System gesagt, wenn man ein trace route to server macht.

Die IP Adress 151.101.65.91 wird ganz fix erreicht. Zwei andere Adressen, (davon nur 1 im Screenshot links) brauchen ewig bzw. werden gar nicht erreicht.

Vll kannst Du Dir temporär einen Eintrag in die hosts machen für die schnelle IP adresse von mastodon.social?

Klasse! Hat wunderbar funktioniert mit dem Eintrag in die Host Datei. Läuft wieder wie geschmiert.
Ich war schon kurz davor, den Server zu wechseln wegen der Ruckelei :)

Who is the #MastoAdmin of mastodon.social? @Gargron
Maybe, you can let them know about the DNS issue of multiple IP addresses assigned to the service, resulting in awfully bad response time, (and the temporary workaround for users: add the quicker-responding IP address to their hosts file
151.101.65.91 ).

De Eintrag in die Host-Datei hat leider nur vorübergehend geholfen. Seit gestern laggt es wieder fürchterlich. Ich bin dann jetzt doch umgezogen:
