So first, I'm a rocket nerd so I've got to get semantic (sorry).
This isn't meant to be a defense of Elon, because the man is an asshole at best. This is meant to be a defense of SpaceX's testing & development strategy. The starship blew up because it was told to because it lost control.
Traditional space programs such as the Saturn V, try to get everything perfect for the very first flight. This requires an insane amount of testing, modeling and simulations to try to predict and prevent every possible failure scenario. This is very slow and insanely expensive.
SpaceX on the other hand, still does lots of testing. (You can check out NasaSpaceFlight's livestream of SpaceX's McGregor test facility. But they prefer to start building and flying things earlier in the process. This starship is/was much earlier along in the development process than the Saturn V was by the time it first flew.

We should go with the SLS solution which was supposed to fly years ago but never did until recently costing taxpayers tens of billions of dollars all so some Alabama senator can keep his constituents employed? How about recognizing Gwen Shotwell the woman who has made SpaceX the leader in the LEO payload industry.

Pardon me for thinking that everything a Nazi supports is bad. I suggest that if you don't support Nazis than don't voice support for their projects, but that's up to you.
If it helps you feel better, I've been called a Nazi for decades because of my climate advocacy.

So some engineer hires on to a company and some time later the owner of said company goes unhinged and now that engineer should what? Have known better? Quit his job? Sell his house? What happens if a nazi lives in my state, should I move? Should I move out of the states because it was started by slave owners. Where would I go that doesn't already have some shittyness associated with it?

Well I left academia because they were not treating global warming like the crisis it is, so yes I recommend that if your boss makes it clear that he/her is a Nazi than if you continue working there than you are complicit.

I like to think I treat people on a case by case basis. 10/10 for trolling through. I fell for the ol your a nazi thing. My original point still stands, spacex tech is better and cheaper than repurposed constellation tech that is decades old tech so I would rather save the money and spend it elsewhere.
