I remember when I was a kid, our neighbors always yell at us when a ball or toy got on their lawn & we ran to get it. We were scared enough by them *yelling*, ffs
Now, the old grouches would've totally shot us ๐๐

Thanks!
But you don't understand, George! Muh rights! MUH RIGHTS!
As if these fictional "rights" should overrule the actual right to life...
Totally agree!
But can these tragedies shed even a brief ray of light on the depths of fear people are living in?
So much so that they'll attack first, ask questions later.
There is something fundamentally very wrong going on. And it's deeply ingrained, buried in our society's Psyche.
@georgetakei Call me old fashioned, but I draw the line at getting in the wrong car. If someone opens up the door to your vehicle and just gets in, you have no idea of their intention.
That being said, I know the event that you're referencing and I hope that man has the book thrown at him for attempting to gun them down as they ran. But in general, getting in the wrong car is like walking in the front door of the wrong house. That crosses a red line that both sides can agree is a red line.
You would assume....

@georgetakei I feel so sorry for Americans who have to live with so many preventable tragedies.
It's such a relief to live in a society where guns are rare and the murder rate is negligible.
Me?
