Allen HolubSo, as I move towards a shoes-off-in-the-house policy, for those of you who do that, what do you do about your dogs? Do they wear little slippers in the house? Not sure my dog is down for that 😄. He'll just eat them.
John Francis@allenholub we keep towels by the front door. Depending on the season and the weather, our fluffy coated dog is a mud mop and needs a towelling after coming in.
Kris Nuttycombe@allenholub whenever it’s wet out, we thoroughly dry their paws when they come indoors. Apart from that it’s not too much of a problem; having dogs requires regular vacuuming anyway.
Jaime Visser@allenholub The cat is exempted. My parents (who own a dog) keep a towel in the hallway to wipe dirty paws.

@matt I couldn't live without my Roborock (and I'm sorely tempted by the new S8). Without it, I'd be buried under at least a foot of Golden Retriever hair 😄
