Halo Infinite's maps are generally pretty good, especially the new community additions for Season 3... but I'm still so confused as to why the map names aren't displayed during loading or when hitting start during a match.

How are we supposed to connect w/ these maps when you don't see them in-game unless you check the modes/maps in a hopper?

The map / mode combo is visible if you open the "social" menu before the loading screen appears. Weird place to tuck it away, but it's there! The map layout loading screen in MCC was so nice, shame we don't have that in Infinite.

@empathe Agreed. I would have liked to have seen the names of the maps that I was playing this week especially!
