@straphanger And what a difference giving each bicyclist the same space as a motorist would have as well, instead of pushing them off the road then claiming they're still "in the way".

@ned @straphanger To offer a good public transportation system in combination with a good public bicycle infrastructure is the best way forward for a sustainable transportation system in a city.

When living in Stockholm I was a ln e-biker most days of the year to the office (13 km one way). It was faster than public transportation. And with the benefit of getting 2 kids to and from preschool on the way.

Biggest advantage with a bike - you never get stuck in traffic.
