Every time I hear someone refer to Covid in the past tense I know how little they value my life.
The *lockdowns* are over. Not the pandemic. The accomodations are over. Not the pandemic. The protections are over. Not the pandemic.

Everyday I am grateful that my little bubble has chosen not only to protect our most vulnerable members but to not volunteer themselves for long covid (or worse). But I can't spend all my time in my bubble, and I vacillate wildly between disappointment with, anger at, and concern for those who are no longer protecting themselves as well as no longer protecting others.
