As a butterfly/pollinator gardener for over 20 years, I find great delight in watching the insects feed, procreate and produce young here. The giant swallowtail butterfly, prolific in Florida, is reaching the end of its 6-14 day adult life cycle, as is evidenced by the wing loss seen.
