Rick Sanchad@signalapp Umm in Australia they have a very similar ridiculous law called the "assistance and access" bill where you as a communication provider upon request are "compelled" by Australian law to decrypt encrypted communications. Am I correct in this? But as an American company... Do you have to? Or will you hand over messages if compelled? Do you stand against that also and have you ever received a TCN/TAR or complied with them?
