@godpod That is usually true, but I knew an artist working a craft show I also worked at who had been making illustrations he marketed as Ducktails for decades. Disney came after him for copyright infringement. But it turned out his ducktails art business preceded the Disney Ducktails cartoon by years. Disney settled when they realized THEY were violating HIS copyright! 🤣
