I must be missing something here. Don't get me wrong, the design of the car looks great. But this is meant to be a daily, not a rare use supercar / track car. No rear window? Only cameras? What happens when the cameras get dirty? At least with a dirty rear window you have a wash/wipe. Hmmm. I am unconvinced.

The Polestar 4 is an electric SUV-coupe… with no rear window

Polestar’s fourth all-new car asks you to think differently about your rear view

@mrjalco From the looks of it I would guess it's allowed them to elevate the rear seats while keeping a fastback design - but the fact that they included a rear-windscreen-shaped panel on the rear upsets me. Like those fake bricked-in extra windows on newbuild houses.
@mrjalco it’s an SUV, that’s my objection, absence of a rear window is way down the list 😂
@mttblss true, true. At least this is quite a nicely styled one, I guess?

@mrjalco best-looking SUV I've ever seen to be fair.

At least they've kept it wide in proportion to the height. Polestar are the only electric cars that appeal to me, some really great designs

@mttblss they haven’t made a bad looking car yet. But then they’re just posh EV Volvos. And Volvo designs have always been ace.

Yes I know the 300 series shut up.

@mrjalco I’d happily forgotten the 300 series
@mttblss you’re welcome 😉
